The Munising School-Public Library was awarded a Library Services & Construction Act Title I Discretionary Grant through the Library of Michigan in May 1991. The library's long-range goal is to develop an area resource collection of archival, business and government information materials on microform to share with other public libraries.
The library recognizes the need for a balance between past and present information to assist in economic and social development in the future.
